model 42 PF7320A137, ser #Yaia0537012235, we,ve done 1 software up grade a couple of yrs ago. The problem we,re having now is, when you turn the TV on you don't see a picture but a voice skips in and out & then the TV turns its self off, with a red flashing light on the front. somtimes we can un plug the tv wait and try again and it will come on, do we need to do another upgrade or do we have internal issues? this is a internal issue in the tv. are you going to try to fix this yourself?

Allan, I don't know what the issue may be , or/if I can fix myself, Do you think it's an expensive fix or somthing minor. also do we have to find someone to come and fix it?
if you do not know electronics then i would not have you try. the parts will run around 150 and the labor 120. so on a 42in i think it is better to invest this money into a newer tv. but here is a link to shops in you area for repair.
