The picture on My Sony Trinidadian TV model #kv27fv16 suddenly went out and a message in bold bright letters appeared on my screen saying: VIDEO 2 (LOCK SYMBOL) Program Rated: Unrated Blocked, It happenrd when I went to choose a DVR program using my VIOS remote. I have been on the phone with Verizon for days without success. One technician suggested I could have inadvertently triggered parental control, however never set a password XXXXX have no children in my house and was nowhere near my TV or my TV remote when it happened.
How can I get out of this mode?

Optional Information:
Make: Sony Trinitron
Model: kv27fv16

Already Tried:
switching channels, video settings (i.e. video 1, 2,3,4 aux no signal}. Tuning every thing off and on unplugging everything, and trying a different cable box> I tried entering 1111 as a code for parental control but TV woul not accept even the 1st 1.

Hi,

Can you please try 4357 code instead of 1111 to unlock the TV?

Let me know if TV accepts 4357 code to proceed.
Thanks.

Customer replied 400 days and 7 hours ago.

I can't remember what button on the remote I pressed to get to parental control.
