Small white dots on our Samsung TV screen. Is our screen going out? Can this be fix? Our TV is only 4 years old.

Yes the dot are on the screen even when watching dvd's,

Im afraid the light engines bad
Namely the DLP chip itself which has thousands of micromirrors on that "swivel" in sympathy with the picture content if they stick then only the light reflects back from the lamp as a dot
To replace the light engine or have it rebuilt is costly here at $600+ depending on the strategy the tech wants to use for the fix ie light engine replacement/rebuild/chip replacement/dmd board replacement
