Is this unit connected to a cable box and how is it connected if so? Also are you able to see the menu when using the Criag Tv remote ?

It is the cable box causing the problem, unplug the cable box from the wall for a minute, plug it back in and let it reboot, if it does not work contact your cable provider to reboot it.
