Hello,Do you have S-Video port on your laptop?
mine is apple air. i guess there should be
i have got all the apple hdmi cables etc. is there any other alternative solution besides changing tv set of course
You will have to use a HDMI to VGA converter. Does your set have a VGA port?
No I don't see any VGA port
What is the model no. of your TV?
That is the model no. of the pedestal stand. The model no. can be located at the back of the set. Usually placed on a sticker.
Th 42PA50H serial YD(NNN) NNN-NNNNSept 2005 manufactured
Your set has component input right?
Red Blue Green ports for video and Red White for Audio
You will need a HDMI component converter.
Connect the HDMI adapter that you have to your Laptop. From the other end take out the HDMI cable and connect it to the input of the HDMI-Component converter. From the component converter out connect the component cable. http://www.amazon.com/HDMI-RCA-component-AV-Converter/dp/B002WBOQPU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1320886289&sr=8-2
Hope it helps. Let me know if you have any queries. Best,Pramit
