TV Repair Questions? Ask a TV Technician for Answers ASAP
Hi and welcome to justanswer.I`m going to help you with your tv but first i will have a few questions;
Are you connected with a cable box,satellite receiver etc. ?
Could you please lookup your tv`s model number located on the back cover ?

We are connected to a cable box and a denon receiver with hdmi cables. the model # XXXXX
O.k and do usually have the sound only from the receiver or from the tv speakers as well ?
In any case the first thing to do will be to unplug the power off the cable box for a couple of minutes before you try it again
We usually only have sound from the tv speakers
Note that it may take up to 5 minutes for the cable box to reboot/restart
I have rebooted the cable box and we now have sound
