Thanks for the question. My name is Dan.

Just so I'm clear... standby/temp is blinking, lamp is blinking... timer is off. Yes?

Respectfully,
Dan

Ok, thanks. Let's see if we can narrow it down.

Turn the TV off, then put your face down by the lamp door... then turn the TV back on. You should hear the color wheel spin up (uh-wheeeee) like a high speed fan, then you should hear the ballast (fizz... click.... click.... click). Listen closely, these can be faint. Do you hear both?

Customer replied 578 days and 2 hours ago.

Unplug TV. Turn on - TV goes on for 3-5 seconds shuts down - Standby/Temp - blinking / Timer - OFF / Lamp - blinking.

Unplug TV. I have take off the back pannel and replaced "Lamp" yesterday - LAMP - BP47-00023A (UHP 120W/132 1.0, ESS,65).

From what I have read the lights are indicating - "Lamp cover on rear is not properly shut". I have inserted lamp chassie - screwed the chassie in place. Put the back plastic panel place.

Plug in TV - Turn on TV - Goes on for 2-5 seconds and then the blinking lights. Used Can - Air and clean out back. No dust - Very Clean.

What next...?

Customer replied 578 days and 2 hours ago.

Yes to your question. I hear all the noises. Thank you.

Make the room dark and look down into the back of the TV or through the exhaust fan port on the rear... does the lamp illuminate?

I figured the problem out - there is a small spring loaded blue lever on back. Lever needs to be in the forward position - back panel pushed it in the forward position.
