my plasma tv p50v701 has just gone to a black screen and the power light keeps flashing blue

well i have the speakers off due to having a stereo receiver for sound
no menu just goes black after i reset it

The internal Power Supply is the common fault
is that hard to replace and can i get one
That is the first module to suspect since it supplies the voltage to the Digital and Command modules.

so do u think that is what it is?
However, there is an even chance that the Power Supply may be loaded down due to the Boards that drive the PDP, plasma display.
It would have to be isolated by removing the outputs of the power supply and verify the voltages.

also during isolation what would the voltages have to be?
They have to be verified against the voltage on the board, connectors, and panel... typically the important voltage is approximately 195VDC.
will this be an easy part to find? the 195vdc is in or out? before or after the power supply?
