Do you get the chirping as soon as you plug it in ??

or after you turn it on?

so you have a yellow standby light

then you turn it on the light goes green and it chirps and changes back to yellow?

or does the light flash with the chirp?

it sounds like you have a shorted out power supply

do you have any repair abilities or expereince?

it might have been originally but I think its gone and destroyed the SCR Fets

check them with your meter bet they are dead shorted

well lets see what a power supply cost

seems to be out of stock in alot of places

cant find any USED or PULLS they woukld be around $ 90.00

but that is new one

and it seems to be the only option

you can try changing the blown fets and the caps

it might work it might not

i have 50% repair rate on those
