Hi

OK its not good news the LCD panel is faulty (screen)either bad polarizors or an uneven backlight its not economic to replace the panel I regret to say, your only chance is if sanyo themselves redress the issue but most manuf only do this if the set is under 3 years old

This isnt unusual by the way I see 5 or 6 bad panels like this per week

Let me know if you need more info please

what is the cost of this panel , can i get it

Hi

The panel is no longer available for this model, if it was it would probably be in the region of $500-$800

To be honest even if it was you wouldnt be able to do it yourself it needs to be done in a "clean" lab and by a technician familiar with this sort of thing

The panel is the screen or display area

Let me know if I can do anything else sorry for the poor outcome
