My tv made a pop sound and powered off. it is a JVC HD56fn97.

My tv made a pop sound and powered off. it is a JVC HD56fn97. Now if you try to turn power on it wont come on and makes short buzz sound.

Hi and welcome.When turning on tv are there any other flashing lights?

in front a small red one flashing but the blue power light is on too

Ok how long have you had this tv?

Customer :

3 1/2 yrs

How many times or when was the last time that the lamp was changed?

Customer :

Bulb was replaced last year after getting a message on tv that the bulb needed to be changed

Is this tv used every day?

Customer :

yes

I believe that your lamp has gone producing the pop noise.

Customer :

is that was is making the buzzing sound

TOM :

Yes its trying to light but probably is shattered.

does capacitor pop

TOM :

I think the lamp is a cl110uaa.A capacitor could pop but Im thinking not common with your set.

You can look online with your model number.I believe you can get them for 76.00

ok. users manual hows me how to change it.

Customer :

If you go to a store or a fix it shop they will mark it up to 200.Yes

Customer :

Could leaving on for long times cause it blow.

TOM :

It is a customer changeable item.Yes or losing power and the fan does not run after tv turned off.
