Customer Question

I have to turn on my RCA l32wd22, 8 or 10 times before it will come on. The green indicator light comes on each time, waits about 8 seconds, turns orange, then blinks orange 5 times and shuts off. Is there a "instant on" problem?

Hi

You are starting to have electrolytic capacitors in the main power supply go bad.

Check or replace the following capacitors C952,C936,C951,C927 & C933 ( 1000mfd@35V ). Also C928,C934,C932 & C972 ( 470mfd@35V )

You can see a picture of the board at the following site.

You may also purchase the entire board if you rather not replace the capacitors.

Thanks Allen, I appreciate yur help, and respect your experience.

When I accept the answer, is there going to be additional charges? Not that I would mind, I know you should get paid, I just need to know how much its going to be.

Thanks again, Tim
