Resolved Question:

Hello,
I'm looking at an ILO LCD LCT42HA36 that is totally dead. Won't power up at all. I looked at the power supply and checked voltages. It seems like I'm getting no DC voltage out. I get my AC in, but that's it.

JACUSTOMER-3fon4oy,

Good evening,

I would suggest to replace the power supply board, One can be found from these links or you can search for others, the part number is XXXXX on the board or on the link. Hope this helps.

Thank you

Good morning.

I was wondering if there's any way I can get this down to the component level. I'm not even getting DC past the rectifier at BD1. I understand if that's not possible, because I've heard there's no schematics out there for the power supply board. I apologize if I'm asking too much but it seems I can get this up and running if I'm pointed in the right direction. Is it a case of too many potential failed components? Thanks for you help so far, I appreciate it.

2nd post - I mentioned the rectifier because that's the component that I suspect is bad. I was wondering if that one is known to fail on that board.

JACUSTOMER-3fon4oy,

I have not ran across anything indicating bad rectifiers, usually if a rectifier goes bad it will short circuit causing the main fuse to open, If this is not the case I would not suspect the rectifier. If you would like to purchase a service manual here is a link to a download manual. Sorry I can't be of more assistance. Good luck

Thank you
