Can you tell me what you have connected to the TV and with what type of connections?

Direct TV box HDMI conection to HDMI1 port

Panasonic DVD suround system HDMI2 port

Panasonic Blu-Ray HDMI3 port

Yes and i just shut everything off conected Direct TV box HDMI conection to HDMI4 port with no luck still no sound But i do have a fine picture

Check that you haven't accidentally turned off the internal speakers. It will be in the Audio menu.
