My JVC tv has a large black box covering most of the screen.

My JVC tv has a large black box covering most of the screen. I cannot get rid of it. I think it is related to PIP, but don't know how to remove.



The fix for this is to enter the closed caption section of the menu and adjust the text mode from T1 or whatever it is on now to off ,or cc or closed caption to off. this will get the box off of there. i see the blacked out area all the time caused by the closed captioning text mode. Perhaps there is a button on the remote for C.C. Best of luck, any other questions please ask.
