The power button on my Sony Large screen tv flashes green,

The power button on my Sony Large screen tv flashes green, and then the lamp light flashes red. TV won't come on. We live in a rural area...is there something we can do?

Already Tried:
70" screen??? I have unplugged for 30 seconds, reset the battery back up unit. Still flashes green for power/standby and then switches to flashing red for lamp, then goes off.

5 years old...no work has been needed so far.

and count the amount of blinks before it pauses and repeats.

Model # XXXXX 46 Green blinks before switching to Red lamp blinks, and I think like 114 red blinks before switching to Red power off.

This isn't the model number, but that is ok, you need a Lamp for this unit I was just going to pull up a picture of it,

 

 

These are some part stores, CALL THEM IF POSSIBLE always check with manufacturer , And you may need the name of the part and its part number off the part itself
