I have a sharp aquos lcd tv. I am getting no power/no lights

Customer Question

I have a sharp aquos lcd tv. I am getting no power/no lights to the actual TV, but I have a solid red light on the AVC system. I have tried changing the cable and the fuses, but this doesnt work. When I disconnect the grey section of the system cable from the TV, the standby light comes on the TV and the light goes green on the AVC system. Does anyone know whats wrong with it?

You have some bad caps , or leaky caps on the power supply board, if you have it repair you are looking at around 300, or you can go to and check and see if you can get a new power supply. take care.
