I HAVE A SONY VEGA TRINITRON MODELL#27FS13 AND WHEN MOVING IT, I LOST CHANNAL 3 OR 4 (WHICHEVER IS USED FOR A SATALITE BOX.) i HAve TRIED ALL NIGHT TO PROGRAM A UNIVERSAL REMOTE TO IT SO THAT i CAN REPROGRAM this channel. Please help me with hopefully a simpler way to get back this channel or give me the access code i need. This t.v still works very well but is about 10-15 yrs old. If I can get this help for this old tv I will certainly continue to buy sony products when I need a new one. Thanks so much, XXXXX XXXXX

Did you know that Sony remotes are VERY universal?
If you have a Sony DVD player, you can easily use that remote to control your TV set, and ANY SONY TV remote will control ALL Sonys....
I sure hope you have a spare Sony remote laying around your house..it's the Easy fix to your problem.

Well unfortunately WALMART remotes don't have Sony codes for a TV set that is as old as yours is....
Here's another solution...Go and get a SONY UNIVERSAL. They do have all the codes for TVs as old as yours is, and they sell them practically everywhere.
That's why I suggested ANY sony remote in your household first.
I do not believe that walmart universal remotes aren't programmed for sony tv's Because when I followed the directions for it, I was able to get it to turn off the tv. but I got tired of trying for 10 minutes at a time, and not getting any further Maybe you know what 'm doing wrong with the remote.please I deserve an answer for my money and surely u agree that asking me if I have a sony remote and telling me to go buy one r both things i could have done and wouild have tried before i spent 13.oo I am disabled and have to wait for my niece to come by to recieve my remote. It took me a week to get someone to move the tv.Also the remotes I have from walmart are also old in fact as old as the tv. When I agreed too payI did not think in my wildest dreams the answers would not be at all helpful. I garentee I will not ever use this service (which i thought would come in handy) ever again if I don't get some sort of reall answer or money back! Please I expected a true and real answer for 13.00 dollars! I thought an "expert" would know how to get the channel back from the tv/ I was pretty sure there was a way to program the tv useing the tv buttons. Do u konw why the channel disapeared. I was moving it and it rolled onto the bed I guessed some wrong buttons got pushed because it was there before. Please all I have is t.v and books and my computer I am in a wheel chair.
Wait a minute...you didn't say all you could do is TURN OFF the TV...You bought the RCA Remote didn't you..
Worthless on SONY TV sets...never liked them, never will.
Listen if you want FULL operation of Controls, you BUY the SAME BRAND NAME. That's been my experience over the years, and Buying an RCA remote is the WORST thing you can do....
Now LG remotes.....Those are excellent remotes too.
But you have to accept the fact that if it Smells bad, it surely isn't a ROSE, is it....
And WHY do you keep calling it a WALMART REMOTE??!
Walmart doesn't make remotes, they SELL remotes.
Look on your remote, it either has RCA or it has JENSEN or GE.
I don't care for any of those brands, to operate SONY.
Seriously, maybe it's Sony I should be pixxed at, but Sony TV sets are real finicky with remotes, and that's one of many reasons why I suggest a SONY remote for a SONY TV set.

I fixed it without leaving, without buying a new remote and without your help. I of course will want a refund for the cussing you gave me and the complete lack of any tyupe of help. You are worthless!!!!!!!!! It was very simple after searching for sony remote control codes. YOu are a fool! I would have gladly paid more and given a 20.00 bonus for not leaving the house and a simple answer to my question which you obviously could have done since I did it without any tv expertise!All you had to do was find the code and tell me but you were obvious very lazy and did not know as much as I did about how to actually find an answer!
