My TV is not one of the models in the reference. The TV is over a year old therefore not under waranty. I opened the TV on the right side and located a fan that is not turning when the TV is on.
I clicked on the referenced link www.samsungasc.com and it was not found. Is this a valid link?
I have an electronics background. Just haven't worked at it for a long time. Is this something that I should attempt or leave to professionals? Do you have any recommended parts suppliers?
Approximately what would be the cost for a repairman?
Well this should be simple for you, the fan that doesn't work should have a part number on it for you to order it. that link above doesn't work, Normally i would use partstore.com
and if you are still having problems, send me the part number on the fan and i should be able to find for you.
The entire back will need to come off to get to the fan. Do you know if this is a plugin fan?
Do you have an estimate for a repairman? I live in Charleston, SC.
Yes it is a plug in, but a service call will be around 1-200.00 depends on the shop,
Check yellow pages .com and tv repair with your zip code.
