52 inch rca hdtv ...... green light blinks 5 times and then recycles again ... no picture... just changed lamp

If you have 5 blinks and you have already changed the lamp (and you're positive the new lamp is good) I would check for a bad ballast first.

If it isn't the ballast, I would replace the power supply. However, I would lean toward the ballast, because the power supply is working well enough to give you the diagnostic blinking.
