Based on the information I have in my shop database, your Elements TV does not have any audio output connections that would allow you to connect a surround sound system using the TV as a source. Every connection on the rear panel is Input only. If you are using an external device such as a cable box or satellite receiver, you would need to connect the sound system directly to the source instead of the TV. The only problem with this approach is that sometimes there is a noticeable delay in the video compared to the audio. This is due to the increased amount of processing that occurs with the video signal as opposed to the audio.
