Hi Patty

Welcome

Could you please provide the make and model usually found on the back of set?

Is it black on all inputs ie dvd/cable etc?

Is the sound still there?

Hi again Patty

Is the LED (light in the front) blinking if not is it red or green?what is its normal ON color?

or isnt it lit at all?

There are two light spots, I think the one on the bottom is just the power light and it is the only one that lights up. It just stays green, I cant really remember if the other stays lit or not? Sorry, but it is not comming on at all.

Hi again Patty

Im afraid their isnt going to be a do-it-yourself on this set

It is one of 2 things

The powerpack has failed ie their is a voltage rail down most likely the Vs and Ve these are the supply voltages for the X and Y sustain boards

The X and Y sustain boards and or buffers have failed blowing the pico or fusible resistors on the powerpack in turn

Their isnt an easy option with plasmas if something fails theirs a domino effect

Then the firmware would have to be upgraded too

Your best bet is a Sanyo dealer if you give me your zip code I will try and find one for you
