Hi there and welcome to Just Answer. Thanks for asking your question.

What we have to do is determine if it is your TV or if it is the TV signal.

How do you get your TV signal? Cable? Cable box? Satellite? Antenna?

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
i use cable but i don't have a cable box i doubt its the cable because the cable is on in my other rooom plus im not getting any sound from my xbox 360 either let me tell you what really happened . i had my tv on and i tried to switch the input to play my game. when i pressed the input button, the tv froze. i tried pressing all the buttons on the remote and nothing worked i even tried to turn the tv off with the remote and manually that didn't work either so i unplugged it and when i turned the tv on the sound was gone

That doesn't sound good.

Try this first. I have to rule out the easy stuff first.

Go into the on screen menu and into Audio. Check that the internal speakers are 'ON'.

Let me know.

Ok. I will have to research if there is a hard rest for this TV. I know there is for other larger LG LCD models.

I'll be back.
