Thank you for posting your question on Just Answer! I will be happy to help you with this problem. Can you please give us some more information so I can better answer your questions.
-What is the model number for the television? (this can be found on the back of the unit)
-How old is the unit?
- Do you have this problem on all inputs? (dvd, cable, satellite, ect.)
-If you press the menu button on the tv while it is on does the menu show up?
Please give me this information and I will be happy to assist you further.
Thank you,
Tim
Are you using anything other than HDMI or any components?
If not please hook something up a different way to see if any of the other inputs other than HDMI work.
Let me know what you find.
Thanks,
All of the HDMI inputs had the same result, as did all the component inputs. I've also used just the regular composite (red white yellow)input for the xbox with the same result.
First let me say I am sorry I don't have a quick or easy fix for this problem.
This set will require a replacement of the digital board, according to the manual this is the only board common to all inputs for video processing. It is also the board with the HDMI plugs on it.
You can expect anywhere from $500-$700 to have a good tv shop come out and repair this for you.
