Hi and welcome.

On the back of the TV are 4 screws near the bottom in a square arrangement. They attach the stand to the body of the TV.

Remove the 4 screws and the TV will lift off the stand.

Do you see the screws?

Customer replied1600 days and 20 hours ago.

Yes, I had already done this.

However, this leaves a metal base into which the 4 screws mount. This remains on show with the tv on the wall and looks odd!!

It is the metal dome/pad that i want to know about removing, if it is possible!!

Thanks

Ahh, OK. Near the bottom of the TV is a plastic plate held on with two screws. Undo those screws, remove the plate and you will see a series of 6-8 screws. Undo those and the stand will drop down.

I will be here.
