WE HAVE A JVC MODEL NO. 20241 TV VCR COMBO. WE HAVE DONE SOMETHING THAT HAS PUT A CHILD LOCK OR A PROGRAM THAT HAS PUT A LARGE BLACK SQUARE IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL OF THE CHANNELS. WE HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING BUT WE CANNOT REMOVE IT!! HOW DO WE REMOVE IT OFF OF THE SCREEN?? PLEASE HELP /XXX@XXXXXX.XXX

The black box may be the closed caption or text box. If your TV has a closed caption press it and see it the box goes away. If not go into the menu and make sure the closed caption is turned off. Some cable boxed have the closed caption feature. If applicable you might make sure it is turned off.
