My Polaris pool sweep wheels turn at 20 rpm. I've replaced the pump impeller and all the bearings in the sweep. The backup valve works well, so I think the pump is delivering enough water. What else should I check?

OK, the basic problem is that this year, after 5 years, the sweep moves very slowly and spends almost all its time stuck in the corners. I had two bad bearings in the sweep, and replacing the pump impeller got the backup valve to be able to pull the sweep all the way out of the corners, but it just goes directly back into a corner. The Polaris troubleshooting guide says the wheels should turn at 28-32 RPM, but they turn at 19-20 RPM. I've got the wall fitting tightened all the way down so that all the water goes to the sweep. Does that help?

I replaced the pump impeller and got more pressure, and I have the relief valve cranked all the way down. How much water should come out of the hose? I'm thinking of seeing how long it takes to fill up a 10 gallon bucket
