Hi my name is ***** ***** I will be happy to assist with this today. In some cases I may need more info to assist better.I apologize for any delay.

This sounds like the common failure of a burned out clutch/disc in the transmission itself.I have seen this occur before and common on Honda models in some cases. The other issue I have seen is Honda is very specific on the transmission fluid being used.If incorrect type of fluid is used this causes issues like this here or if the fluid is old this can cause issues.I would have the fluid checked to see if it needs flushed out to see if it resolves this here but from here it does sound like the damage is already done in the transmission and the transmission needs removed and rebuilt or replaced.Honda was common for their automatic transmission failures when they were not maintained properly.

If more help is needed, use the reply tab to continue our conversation. If no further assistance is needed, kindly rate my service, your 5 star rating is appreciated. You can rate at any time and we can continue to work on your question as this will not close out your question.Keep in mind in some cases it can be difficult to fully diagnose or help repair your vehicle without seeing it and I work on delivering the best possible answer from what I see to work with.

Thanks Pete
