ONCE IN A WHILE, IT STARTS HARD SHIFTING BETWEEN GEARS. IF I SHUT IT DOWN FOR A WHILE, IT RETURNS TO NORMAL SHIFTING. BY HARD SHIFTING, I MEAN IT BANGS INTO THE NEXT GEAR

Customer: NO LEAKING. IT'S A 2000.

Customer: ONLY 79000 MILES LESABRE LIMITED
JA: Are you fixing your LeSabre yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: CHANGED THE TRANS OIL. DISCONECTED THE BATTERY FOR 24 HOURS.

That could very well be the PCS, (pressure control solenoid) in the trans.

There has been a factory service bulletin, (not a recall) for that on them.
