It is stuck in PARK Gear.Been back to dealership 2x and they tell me nothing is wrong. this all happened after they put new front rotors on the 03 highlander FWD..
JA: Do you have brake lights? Have any trouble codes popped up?
Customer: no codes, brake lights work find. car is great except for this issue that the dealership can't or wont fix, cause they keep telling me they greased the knob on shifter and nothing else is wrong. I don't believe they checked anything
JA: What is the make/model of your car?
Customer: 2003 Highlander FWD
JA: Are you fixing your Highlander yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: dont 'think I know how since the delaership doesn't know how to solve the problem

The brake pedal could be out of adjustment, or this could be a shift interlock solenoid problem.
