engine light is on and will no move when put in reverse
JA: Has your vehicled stalled? Has anyone run a diagnostic test to pull the trouble code?
Customer: my OBD2 reader just happen to stop working today so I was unable to get the code
JA: What is the model/year of your Honda?
Customer: 2002 Honda odyssey
JA: Are you fixing your Odyssey yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: removing the battery connections. check the fluid. I don't know what else to do

If it has lost reverse only, assuming it isn't due to a brake related issue, the problem is an internal failure in the transmission.

Was the problem progressive or was reverse lost suddenly?

What was the condition of the fluid?
