I have a 2006 magnum with a hemi. i want to check tranny

Customer Question

i have a 2006 magnum with a hemi. i want to check tranny fluid cause it seems to slip at stoplights taking off, and car stalls sometimes. have already replaced fuel pump and had tranny serviced a couple months ago at dealership. but i dont think they put enough fluid in it. there is less than half an inch in pan of fluid. i measured by sticking a long brazing rod down tube. but i want to purchase dipstick and attempt to solve problem myself as it is obvious that dodge has no idea whats going on or just refuses to help!
JA: Just to clarify, which fluid are you talking about? And what color and consistency is it?
Customer: the tranny fluid. and its pink, with no burnt smell, yet!
JA: Are you fixing your Magnum yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: have put fuelpump on, plugs, , changed air filter, idle control sensor, mass airflow sensor.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: now dealership wants to change all coilpacks and ecm and pcm! AND WONT GUARANTEE ANY OF IT WILL WORK!!!!!! REALLY??
