Expert:  Gary replied 1 month ago.

if all 3 fuses are good and when you first turn the key on there is none of those lights come on even for a bulb check then we have a bad switch or possible bad 4WD module

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

Do you you still need help?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
still need help nothing has changed with this problem
Expert:  sprinkles08 replied 1 month ago.

A scan tool capable of communication with the transfer case module is necessary to diagnose the problem. Do you have one available?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I do not know i will have to check around tomorrow when shops are open
Expert:  sprinkles08 replied 1 month ago.

Any dealer or most independent shops would have a scan tool necessary to diagnose it. What needs to be done is first see if the module communicates. If it does then it's fault codes will need to be read and possibly data looked at to begin testing.

If the module does not communicate then it's powers, grounds and communication bus voltages will need to be looked at and if all is ok then the module can be condemned.

Am i getting charged for this if i have to still look for the answer at a repair shop the thing i was trying to avoid ?
Expert:  sprinkles08 replied 1 month ago.

Unfortunately we're unable to control what is wrong with the vehicle, your personal capabilities and equipment, or what the diagnostic process will entail. If you don't wish to pay I will need to discontinue.
