Transmission overheat slow down
JA: Have you checked the coolant? Have you checked for a leak in the cooling system?
Customer: YES
JA: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: LR3 2006
JA: Are you fixing your LR3 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I replace the gear oil and now it showing transmission overheat slow down and the H comes on
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

The transmission may actually be overheating for a few reasons, or the problem may just be an inaccurate temperature sensor signal. If it's actually overheating under the same conditions where it did not in the past then a trans cooler system issue or clutch slippage would be the cause.
