the converter bolts are in place holding the converter to the flexplate ?
was the converter bolted to the flex plate then put in the transmission ?
automatic or stick shift transmission ?
it has to have a flex plate for an automatic
as the converter is bolted to the flex plate with 3 bolts
a stick shift uses a flywheel and automatic uses a flex plate
are the 3 converter bolts in place ?
was the converter on the engine then the engine put into the transmission ?
ok so what are the 3 bolts bolting the convertor too ?

when in park with the truck NOT ROLL and be locked on the parking lock in the transmission ?
are you reading what i am asking you ?
the fluid is full in the transmission and the truck will not move in any gear ?
is the transmission cable and little lever on the transmission under the drivers side moving through all the gears you select with the shifter ?
if the lever on the transmission is moving then it can not be stuck in park
is just the dash saying its still in park no matter what gear you select ?
ok if its moving in the dash and the cable and lever on the transmission is moving through all the gears and the fluid is full either the transfer case is stuck in neutral OR there is a pump failure inside the transmission
again was the converter on the engine and then put into the transmission ?
these transmissions when full of fluid and physically being shifted into reverse and a forwards gear should by default have reverse and a forward gear if it does not the transfercase is is neutral or the transmissions pump has failed
