95 Seville SLS went to limp mode and stays in 2nd gear. I

95 Seville SLS went to limp mode and stays in 2nd gear. I replaced the shift solenoids and reset the codes. After the vehicle comes up to operating temp, goes back to only 2nd gear and service engine light comes on and gives code P029.

This is the only PCM code showing on the onboard diagnostics.

It does not have enough numbers, it should be a P---- code, it needs at least 4 numbers after the P, Tim

1995 is an obdI system they did not have Pcodes until 1996, can you check the production date on the drivers front door?

The Mfg date on mine is 02/95. Others online have been able to give me more information so I will look elsewhere. Do not charge me for this help.
