Customer Question

My 2002 RX300 won't go shift into PARK. Currently have it in Neutral with the emergency BRAKE down. Can't turn it off, so it's sitting with wood blanks behind the back wheels and with the engine light on. WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THE GEAR INTO PARK!

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

Not being able to get the shifter into park could be an internal trans issue (not that likeyl), the shift cable, the shifter itself, or it could be something foreign blocking movement at either the shifter or transmission end.
