Customer: today automatic

Customer: yes i am trying to fix it myself . the gear box shifts right back to park overtime you try to put it in gear drive or reverse

If the vehicle does not move when put into gear then there is either an internal failure in the transmission or possibly a rear differential or CV joint issue.

With the trans in park are you able to push the vehicle or do you feel a hard mechanical lock?
