is transmission still shifting good ?

it could be your transmission mount , the exhaust hanger , engine mount , because when you shifting from forward to reverse the engine and trans mounts supposed to absorb the shoc , if the rubber inside the goes bad it will start making clunking noise , it best to raise it on rack have one person in driver seat and one under the car and shift it and then you can see what is clunking , unless that clunking coming internally from trans
