Expert:  Chris (aka- Moose) replied 1 year ago.

Your scan tool may not be able to do he tests we need. Can you do the tests substituting the solenoid numbers for the MES?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
What is MES I will look at my scanner tomorrow
Expert:  Chris (aka- Moose) replied 1 year ago.

MES is measurement

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
pca pressure a psa pressure is what we are looking for?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
opps pcc and pca
Expert:  Chris (aka- Moose) replied 1 year ago.

All tests are for pressure.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
ok pcc and pca jump around fron 80-600 psi
Expert:  Chris (aka- Moose) replied 1 year ago.

Your scan tool will not work. Its reading solenoid pressure and we need the pressure sensor reading on both variators in these tests. You most likely going to need to get into the transaxle to inspect the variators and mechatronics.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
are they not pcc and pca pressure
Expert:  Chris (aka- Moose) replied 1 year ago.

There is a PCA and PCA- MES

The first is the solenoid pressure and the second is the pressure measurement after the variators use the pressure.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
my scanner reads those pcc and pca jump around from 80-600 psi
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
oooh i see there are 2 measurements from each let me check tomorrow

I like to stay in contact with my customers that appear not pleased, still working on the concern, or have not rated yet. I assume you were not pleased with my help. I hate that you have spent money to get an answer but left not happy. Can you tell me why, or can I help more. If its more help you need just reply and we can pick up where we left off.

Thanks Chris
