2009 ford Escape V6 Automatic. Transmission will not engage

Customer Question

2009 ford Escape V6 Automatic. Transmission will not engage in any gear. When the transmission is put in D it will bearly move forward when you step on the gas. Fluid level is OK.

If the fluid level is ok and there aren't any fluid leaks, then I would have to say that the transmission will need to be rebuilt.

Does the vehicle move at all in reverse? Usually when the torque converter has gone out it will still just barely engage in reverse.
