Customer Question

06 Range Rover 4.4 overheated. Replaced engine, and now it will not go into overdrive automatically, but will go in overdrive manually. It also has decent light on. Serviced transmission, but no help.
Please advise!

Are you able to respond to the 2 questions I asked?

Expert:  Chris (aka- Moose) replied 1 year ago.

As mentioned in my first response, I would stay in contact with you. I've noticed you have not rated the post. So I assume you were not pleased with my help. I hate that you have spent money to get an answer but left not happy. Can you tell me why, or can I help more. If its more help you need just reply and we can pick up where we left off.

I do not know the codes, or about the throttle.

Being that you are unable to do diagnostics, my help will not be as thorough and precise as you and I prefer. An incorrect reading throttle position sensor and a transmission solenoid concern can cause no overdrive operation in drive.
