Customer Question

I have a 2011 Ford Explorer and I have been experiencing an excelleration problem, been to ford dealer a few times, light isn't on, and they cant find anything wrong, since the check engine doesnt come on.
the problem is as im driving along and I have to pass someone or as I just driving along and I come to a hill I just lightly touch the excellator and the engine revs up but the truck doesnt respond. they have added transmission fluid and that doesn't work either, Dealer even kept the truck overnight and drove it around with no problem. dealer now tells me that nothing can be done until the check engine light come on.I have to say I have had a few extremely scarey moments on the interstate. I might not see the light if im hit, I cant wait till the light lights up, hopefully you can help me out.hope you have some help

Current miles on the vehicle?

Is this always at highway speeds?

When this occurs does it slam into gear?
