Customer Question

Would to much trans fluid cause the d5 light to flash on a 2003 acura mdx
Hot or cold in d5 or d4 when you reach about 40 mph the d5 light starts flashing and continues until you shut it off. I checked the fluid it is clean but comes 1 1/2 inch over the full mark on the stick. No problems as far as shifting

The flashing D4 or D5 on this model usually indicates a shift pressure sensor. Do you have a check engine light on also? Have you been able to check for trouble codes in the system?

When you check the fluid level is the vehicle idling in park or engine off in park?

I just wanted to check in and see if you needed any additional information. I'd love to help in any way that I can.
