Customer Question

I'm having trouble with 2000 Ford F-350 not shifting into 4wd! The ESOF motor on transfer case clicks 3 times and pauses for about 45seconds then clicks 3 more times but as far as I know it's not enguaging into 4wd!! Dash light will not come on!! Also I've noticed when you turn ignition on just till it displays the lights, the 4x4 light does not come on either!! Please help

Since the lights high nor low are not coming on when shifting to 4wd, this means its not the front axle nor hubs, that happens last. That leaves the shift motor, switch, module, or relays. Since the 4wd lights are not coming on and self testing during startup, this means its a module issue. Do you need any diag steps or wire diagrams?

You want a excellent 5 star answer & I would like to be rated the same for providing it. Consider I don't know your skill level & I can't see, smell, hear, or touch the vehicle. It may take a few back and forth replies. Try your best to respond with good detail so I can do the same. I normally log in at 3pm and work late. A rating is required. Your rating me, what I type. I am not an employee of this website, nor have control over the fees or the time it took to get a response. If you rate negative or not at all you still paid, but I get nothing. I want you pleased with me and my efforts, so let me know if your experience here has come up short.

Thanks Chris
