Transmissions Nissan Frontier: My 06 frontier went thru a lot

My 06 frontier went thru a lot of water just before stop sign. went to pull out and no low gear not down shifting has been perfect for 212000 mil.

no have not but will do now.

ok do that and let me know pay attention to the fluid condition also look inside the coolant over flow bottle for milky fluid

Trans fluid is clean and red clear and above cold line engine is still warm. Coolant ok no milk. zero problems until water this am. 400 mil a week highway and boat towing no issues.

do the car move at all and is the service engine soon light on ???

truck will move drove home, pulling away from stop is just like doing it in third gear if it was a manual trans. reverse works fine.
now and then it will start off ok then up shift too early and gain speed slowly

ok the first thing you need to do is get the truck scan for codes this will narrow the problem to a component but this do sounds like you have a problem with the tcm inside the trans you way have got some water in the trans and cause damage to the trans. so get it scan for codes
