Hello, I'm Chris.

Does this concern only occur once then it moves on and does what it should?

If you count your shifts, is this concern between 2-3 or 3-4 gears?

Once past 50mph are there any more concerns?

Customer replied 281 days ago.

it occurs between 2 and 3. shifts fine through the other gears.

So you are at a stop sign and accelerate in 1st gear, it then goes to 2nd, it then goes to 3rd but it goes to neutral for a second then back into 3rd and then to 4th?

Does it do this every time it up shifts?

Once it gets into 3rd there are no other problems?

Customer replied 280 days and 22 hours ago.

yes, it does it when it upshifts into 3rd then everything else seems normal

Unfortunately I have some bad news then. This means the concern is internal in the transmission with the direct clutch not able to hold pressure when first applied which indicates that it is i n the beginning stages of lip seal failure which occurs before clutch failure. You need to have this transmission overhauled and resealed through out.

I would recommend a transmission tech overhauling your unit. It does not have alot of damage and the price will be cheaper than a factory remanufactured unit installed.
