Hi I look forward to helping you with your question, Doug
Can you tell me the problem you are having, Doug
and what engine do you have
I have a 2005 Sentra Standard 1.8L engine.
I am losing throttle responsiveness at seemingly random times, and have to turn off the car and restart it in order for the throttle to respond.
ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO, MY HUSBAND AND I WERE DRIVING TO NEW JERSEY FROM here is an another person's explanation of this: I have the same problem.
MARYLAND GOING NORTH ON 95. WE WERE IN THE LEFT LANE GOING ABOUT 75 MILES PER HOUR WHEN THE CAR COMPLETELY LOST THROTTLE RESPONSE. MY HUSBAND WAS PRESSING DOWN ON THE ACCELERATOR BUT NOTHING WAS HAPPENING. THIS HAS BEEN AN ON GOING PROBLEM WITH HIS 2002 NISSAN SENTRA SPEC V. WE HAVE HAD SEVERAL THROTTLE BODIES REPLACED AS THIS IS WHAT THE COMPUTER IS TELLING THEM THE PROBLEM IS.
I'm sorry this question came up under transmission problems , I will opt out so the right tech.can can help you, some one will be with you soon. Doug
