JUST BOUGHT THE JEEP TRANS WAS JUST REBUILT--DROVE FINE FOR 50 MILES THEN IT MADE NOISE AND WOULD NO BACK UP --GOT IT HOME PULLED STICK AND FLUID WAS FULL BUT HOT AND FULL OF AIR BUBBLES---FLUID DIDNOT SMELL BURNT

Hi,how are you? From what you are describing the pump is not operating correctly for you to have these air bubbles. I don' t think adjusting the bands is going to help ,I would suggest taking a look at the pump and seals.

Yes the transmission will have to be removed in order to do this.
