the switch is actually called the mode switch. it performs all functions for backup lights, neutral saftey etc. its located in the trans behind the side cover. its #811 shown

OK HOW DO I GET IT OUT

I have to opt out. Too much detailed info to to send and needs to go to trans experts

To remove the pnp switch you have to open the transmission to take it out is very expensive to change one part if you do that than most people rebuild the transmission at same time with all new parts to get to pnp switch you have to remove all inside parts
